STATEMENT OF PURPOSE (WHAT DO WE WANT OUT OF A YOUTH PROGRAM)
The Purpose of the Youth Department is to teach the youth to become Willing Christian Workers for the Lord through times of strife. To encourage this Growth and Spiritual Development, the focus for the Youth will be to work on strengthening the Relationship with Christ thru Bible based studies in
all areas.
To ensure that each organization flourishes as an extension of the body of the church, each area will need, “Willing Workers” to assist in there growth. The needs will be listed as follows:

Mission:
As the Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church “Zion Praisers” Dance Ministry, we are here to create a productive ministry through dance. It is a true gift to have the ability to express your feelings towards the Lord in dance. We are here to enhance praises for the Lord by allowing Christians to participate actively in dance. We are here to teach many different genres of dance and to open hearts to the Holy Spirit. We are here to enrich the body of the church. We dance on a straight path to God. We are Standing Strong For God. We are Steadfast For God.

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL
Purpose:
Sunday School is a Bible-Teaching Ministry that focuses straight from the “Bible”. Sunday School is for those who seek to expand and enrich their Study of
“God’s Spoken Gospel Word”.
Wanted – Willing Youth Students, Ages Preschool – High School
Needed – Willing TEACHERS to expand on the Sunday School Lesson, under the Guidance of the Sunday School Superintendent Director – Sister Mitchell.
YOUTH SESSIONS TEACHINGS
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly

Purpose:
As the Youth of today, studying the Word of God can be a Challenging Experience. We want our Youth to be able to learn the Bible and use what they learn to fit it into their everyday life experiences. We want the Youth of today to learn through Prayer and Study of the “Word of God”. Through Prayer, the Youth will build a Personal Relationship with God. Through Study, the Youth will be able to apply God’s word to their Young lives for daily Encouragement. It will also teach them to be productive leaders in and throughout the Community and Workforce.
Wanted – Willing Youth Students, Ages 9-18 years old
Needed- Willing TEACHERS to expound on the “Word of God”, to discuss issues with Youth that affect their everyday lives, to meet everyday challenges and develop Christian Leadership Skills and to conduct regularly scheduled study sessions. To work directly under the Guidance of Pastor Spence on Bible Based Topics that will be implemented.
